A soundbox for the stall, the cart and the roadside shop
A device soundbox needs a counter, a charger and a safe place overnight. A stall has none of those. The phone in your pocket does, and UPI Alert makes it speak.
Built for hands that are busy
Pouring tea, frying, weighing vegetables, handing over a parcel: none of it stops for a phone. When a customer pays, the phone in your pocket says “40 rupees received on PhonePe”, loud enough to hear over the street. If the stall is noisy, a small Bluetooth speaker clipped to the cart carries the voice further.
Nothing to charge, nothing to lose
There is no second battery to remember and no box to carry home. If the phone is with you, the soundbox is with you. The app works with the screen off and keeps working through the day, with a status card that tells you the moment a phone setting switches it off.
The evening count
Today's total and the number of payments are on the home screen, so the end-of-day count is already done. The cashbook holds cash sales beside UPI credits, and the weekly report shows which days and which apps brought the money in.
For delivery staff too
Delivery workers who collect on UPI get the same announcement on the road, so a payment is confirmed before the parcel leaves the hand. Thirteen Indian languages cover most routes in the country.
Questions
Will it drain my battery?
No more than a few notifications a day would. The app sleeps until a payment notification arrives, plays a short announcement and goes back to sleep.
Can I keep the phone in my pocket?
Yes. Announcements play with the screen off. Raise the media volume so you hear it on the street, or pair a Bluetooth speaker.
Do I need to register a business?
No. The app reads the payment notifications your UPI app already shows. It does not register you anywhere or hold your money.
