Payment announcements for salons, tailors and service shops
In a service shop the payment happens while your hands are on the customer, the garment or the repair. UPI Alert announces it from the phone, so you keep working and still know the money came in.
Where it fits
- Salons and parlours. A customer pays at the chair; the phone at the desk announces it. No walking over to check.
- Tailors and boutiques. Advance payments on WhatsApp orders are announced the moment they arrive.
- Mobile and electronics repair. Hear the payment while the device is still open on the bench.
- Clinics and labs. Reception hears each payment without turning away from the patient.
Discreet when you want it
Choose the chime, the voice and the volume. Mute the voice for an hour from the home screen when a client is on the phone, and the payments still land in the list for later.
Records that match the appointment book
Each payment is listed with the payer's name, the app and the time, so matching money to appointments at the end of the day takes a minute. Monthly reports with a PDF cover the accountant.
Questions
Can staff see payments on their own phones?
Any phone that receives the payment notification can run the app and announce it. The records live on each phone separately.
Does it announce cash?
No. Cash is entered by hand in the cashbook so the day's total includes it, but only UPI and bank credits are announced.
Which banks are covered?
Credit alerts from SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak and most other banks' apps are announced, along with all the major UPI apps.
