Terms of Service — Invoice Maker

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Invoice Maker app (package com.auspo.invoice.maker, the “App”), published by Auspo Apps (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Invoice Maker, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Invoice Maker on devices you own or control, for your own business or personal record-keeping. You may not resell, redistribute, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Your records are yours

You keep all rights to everything you enter: your business profile, parties, items, transactions and the documents the app produces from them. We claim no ownership or licence over any of it. Your records are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us, so we have no technical means of accessing them.

You are responsible for your invoices and your taxes

Invoice Maker is a bookkeeping tool. It calculates GST and prepares report figures from the information you enter, using the tax rates, place-of-supply and other settings you choose. It does not provide tax, accounting or legal advice, and its output is not a substitute for a qualified chartered accountant or tax practitioner.

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of every invoice, bill, return, payment and stock entry you record, and for choosing the correct tax rate, HSN/SAC code, place of supply and scheme for your business.
Reports such as GSTR-1, GSTR-2, GSTR-3B, GSTR-4, profit & loss and the balance sheet are summaries of your entries, prepared for your convenience. They are not filings, they are not certified, and they may not reflect every rule that applies to you. Check them against your records and with your tax adviser before filing or relying on them.
Tax law, rates and filing formats change. We try to keep the app's defaults current, but we do not guarantee that any rate, rule or format built into the app is correct or up to date for your situation.
You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your business, including GST registration, invoice content requirements, e-invoicing and e-way bill obligations where they apply, record-keeping periods and consumer protection rules.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to:

create invoices, receipts, credit notes or reports that are false, backdated to mislead, or intended to evade tax or deceive any person or authority;
record the details of another person or business without a lawful basis to do so, or send them invoices, statements or reminders they have not agreed to receive;
break any law that applies to you, or infringe anyone else's rights.

Backups are your responsibility

The app is not a backup service. Your records live only on your device. Losing the device, resetting it, clearing the app's data or uninstalling can lose them permanently. The app includes a backup feature; use it regularly and keep the backup file somewhere safe. We are not responsible for lost data.

Accuracy and no warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. In particular:

Calculations depend on your inputs. A wrong rate, quantity, date or setting produces a wrong total. Check every document before you issue it.
Rounding. Amounts are rounded to two decimal places and, if you enable it, totals are rounded to the nearest rupee. Small differences from other software are normal.
GSTIN validation checks the format and checksum of a number. It does not confirm that the number is registered, active or belongs to the party you have recorded.
Printing and sharing depend on the printer, print service, messaging app or cloud provider you choose, which we do not control.

Price

Invoice Maker is currently free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. If a future version adds paid features, they will be described in the app and processed by Google Play under its refund policy; we will not process payments or see your card details.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auspo Apps is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, or for any tax, penalty, interest or fine, arising from your use of or inability to use the app or from reliance on figures it produces. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Third-party services

Where the app hands a file or message to another app, printer, messaging service or cloud provider at your request, that service's own terms and privacy policy govern what happens next. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. We may update these terms; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your own country of residence.
