Privacy Policy — Invoice Maker

This Privacy Policy explains how the Invoice Maker app (package com.auspo.invoice.maker, the “App”), published by Auspo Apps (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use it.

Information stored on your device

Everything you enter is stored in a database inside the App's own private storage area, which other apps on your device cannot read. This includes:

• Your business profile — business name, address, phone, email, GSTIN, state, bank account details and UPI ID that you choose to print on invoices, and any logo or signature image you add.
• Parties — the names, phone numbers, email addresses, GSTINs, addresses, balances and groups of the customers and suppliers you record.
• Items — product and service names, codes, HSN/SAC codes, prices, tax rates and stock.
• Transactions — invoices, bills, orders, estimates, challans, returns, payments, expenses, cheques and account adjustments, with their line items and amounts.
• Settings — tax rates, numbering, print options, message templates and, if you turn it on, the passcode used to lock the App.
• Temporary copies — when you share or print, the App writes a PDF or CSV into its own cache so the receiving app can read it. Android clears this cache, and uninstalling removes it.

None of this is transmitted to us. We cannot see it, recover it, or delete it on your behalf.

Information we collect

None. The App contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, messaging or sign-in services, and it has no network permission. We do not receive any information about you, your device, or how you use the App.

Permissions the App requests

• Bluetooth (optional) — requested only when you tap Thermal print, so the App can list your paired printers and send a receipt to the one you pick. Bluetooth is not used for anything else. You can decline; every other feature keeps working.
• Contacts — the App holds no contacts permission. The “Pick from contacts” button opens Android's own contact picker, which hands the App only the single name and number you select.
• Photos and files — the App holds no storage or photo permission. Choosing a logo or signature, importing a CSV, and creating or restoring a backup all use Android's own pickers, which grant access only to the file or folder you choose.
• Internet — not requested. The App cannot open a network connection.

You can withdraw Bluetooth access in Android Settings at any time. Thermal printing stops working; nothing else is affected.

Sharing, printing, messaging and backup

These are the only ways your records leave the device, and each one is something you start:

• Share PDF / Share CSV — the App creates the file and opens Android's share sheet. You choose the destination app; that app's own privacy policy governs what happens next.
• WhatsApp — opens WhatsApp (or your browser) with the party's phone number and a pre-filled message. The message is sent only if you send it, and WhatsApp's terms and privacy policy apply to it.
• Print — handled by Android's print framework and the print service or Bluetooth printer you select.
• Backup and restore — you pick a file location with Android's file picker. If you choose a folder that belongs to a cloud service such as Google Drive, your backup is stored there under that provider's terms. The App never sees or stores your cloud sign-in.
• UPI QR code — printed on invoices when you enable it, the code contains only your own UPI ID, business name and the invoice amount. It is generated on the device.

Invoices, statements and reports you share naturally contain business information about you and about the party they concern. You are responsible for sending them only to people entitled to receive them.

Deleting your data

• Delete any party, item, transaction, account or image inside the App.
• Clear the App's storage from Android Settings, or uninstall the App — both remove every record and setting from the device permanently.
• Backups you created live where you saved them and must be deleted there.

Because nothing is stored off the device by us, uninstalling leaves no copy of your data with us or anyone else.

Children

Invoice Maker is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone; the App collects none. If you have a concern, contact us at auspoapps@gmail.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or the CCPA in California — you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you. Because we hold no information about you, all of it is already under your direct control inside the App, and you can exercise every one of these rights yourself using the steps above. We do not sell personal information, and we have none to sell.

Data retention and security

Information stays on your device until you delete it, clear the App's data or uninstall. The App's database lives in private storage that other apps cannot read, and you can add a passcode lock from Settings. Protecting your device itself — with a screen lock, and by keeping backups somewhere safe — is the most important safeguard, and it is in your hands.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App changes — for instance if a future version adds an optional online feature, which would be described here before it ships. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
