Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the AI UPI Alert app (the “Service”), provided by Auspo Apps (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

AI UPI Alert reads payment notifications that supported UPI, wallet and bank apps show on your Android phone, and announces them aloud. It also offers a cashbook, reports, a UPI QR code and related tools.

The Service is not a bank, payment system, payment aggregator or wallet. It does not send, receive, hold or verify money. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to NPCI, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, BharatPe or any bank. Their names are used only to describe compatibility and belong to their owners.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Indian law. The Service is intended for use by business owners and their staff.

3. Announcements are a convenience, not a confirmation

• An announcement is only as accurate as the notification your phone receives. The App cannot announce a payment if your phone does not receive, or the payment app does not show, a notification.
• Announcements can be delayed or missed because of network issues, phone settings, battery optimisation, manufacturer restrictions, the payment app changing its notification format, muted volume or other factors outside our control.
• Always confirm important payments in your bank or UPI app before handing over goods or services. Do not rely on an announcement alone, and be alert to fake payment screens and spoofed notifications.
• Totals, cashbook balances and reports are for your convenience and are not accounting, tax or bank records.

4. Your responsibilities

• Grant the permissions the App needs and keep notifications turned on in your payment apps.
• Keep your phone and its screen lock secure; anyone with your phone can see your payment history in the App.
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and only on devices you own or are authorised to use.
• Do not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or interfere with the Service, or use it to build a competing product.

5. Subscription, free trial and billing

• Some features require an AI UPI Alert Pro subscription, sold through Google Play. The price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the App before you confirm.
• Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and is charged to your Google Play payment method until you cancel.
• Free trial: if offered, you are not charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and the first charge is made on the date shown at purchase. Trials are for new subscribers only.
• Cancelling: cancel anytime in Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy. Where Google Play allows, you can request a refund through Google Play; you can also contact us and we will help where we can.
• We may change prices for future periods. Google Play will notify you before a higher price applies, and you can cancel before it does.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the information you add or that the App records for you (such as cashbook entries and payment history). You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, including the App, its design, text, graphics, logos and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your devices for your business, under these Terms.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on Android, Google Play, Google Firebase and other third-party services. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

9. Changes and availability

We may improve, change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We try to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If we discontinue a paid feature, we will not charge you for it after that date.

10. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goods or data — including losses from a missed, delayed or incorrect announcement, or from relying on an announcement instead of checking your bank or UPI app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the App and cancelling any subscription. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. Sections 3, 7 and 10–15 survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law. Please contact us first — most concerns can be resolved quickly.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell you in the App. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
